Tubular exhaust manifold prepared for central turbine with symmetrical pipes and heart. This form of the collector has been designed to try to have the same thermal expansion of all the tubes, thus reducing the risk of breakage and significantly improving the pulsation compared to the original manifold, very sacrificed!
With this manifold the gas response and the yield at high revs definitely improves in addition to the fact that the exhaust temperatures are reduced to 60° C under equal conditions thereby increasing the reliability of the engine.
This manifold, suitable for turbo original mounts without modification in the engine compartment and just need your downpipe specific to link up in the flange under monoblock in original position.
Is not suitable for bigger turbo for the fact that they are used for small pipes remain in the original dimensions. For bigger turbo it was created a specific as you can see on the other page in the section exhaust manifolds.
It is appropriate to use the thermal bandages for:
1 – reduce thermal shock, deleterious for the collector;
2 – to maintain the hot gases as much as possible (more gases are hot and they create more kinetic energy to move the turbo)
3 – to maintain lower temperatures in the engine compartment and then wear out as little as possible the materials, wires and pipes in it.
Collettore di scarico tubolare predisposto per turbina centrale con tubazioni simmetriche e a cuore. Questa forma del collettore stata ideata per cercare di avere le stesse dilatazioni di tutti i tubi riducendo cosi il rischio rottura e migliorando decisamente la pulsazione rispetto al collettore originale, molto sacrificato!
Con questo collettore la risposta al gas e la resa agli alti regimi migliora decisamente oltre al fatto che le temperature di scarico si riducono di 60°C a paritàdi condizioni accrescendo così l’affidabilitàdel motore.
Questo collettore, adatto per turbo originale, monta senza modifiche nel vano motore e serve solo il suo downpipe specifico per raccordarsi nella flangia sotto al monoblocco in posizione originale.
Non adatto a turbo di grosse dimensioni per il fatto che vengono usate tubazioni piccole per rimanere negli ingombri originali. Per turbo maggiorati ne stato creato uno specifico come vedete dall’altra pagina presente nella sezione collettori di scarico.
E’ di rigore usare le bende termiche per:
1- ridurre gli shock termici, deleteri nella tenuta del collettore;
2- per mantenere i gas caldi il più possibile (più i gas sono caldi e più energia cinetica riescono a creare per muovere il turbo)
3- mantenere più basse le temperature nel vano motore e quindi usurare il meno possibile i materiali, fili e tubazioni in esso contenuti.
