WASTEGATE
For 1.4 T-Jet or Multiair
The wastegate has an important role in the turbo engine, mostly if you increase the pressure.
Since, with the wastegate you don’t get high pressure because the spring breaks and the increase of the speed is under the expectations and, over some pressure, the increase of the turbo slow down because the wastegate yields into backpressure.
Therefore is necessary an hard wastegate that allows to overcome all problems.
Obviously the stirrup that supports the wastegate needs modifications as the picture
Come sapete la wastegate gioca un ruolo fondamentale nei motori turbo sopratutto se si aumentano le pressioni di sovralimentazione.
Prima di tutto con la wastegate di serie non si raggiungono elevate pressioni perchè la molla cede e per di più la velocità di risalita della pressione non è bella cattiva come la si desidera e, oltre una certa pressione, la salita della pressione turbo rallenta perchè la wastegate cede di contropressione.
Ecco che qui diventa necessaria la wastegate dura come quella in foto che permette di superare tutti i problemi sopra.
Ovviamente la staffa che la sostiene va modificata come in foto sotto.
